What an amazing week! After a few days' trepidation with our good friend [Hurricane] Omar, we found Beach Escape in great shape and ready for the wedding yesterday. Capped by a beautiful sunset and a great meal at Ferryboat Inn, the nuptials worked out beautifully and all of us enjoyed our week here, our first in Anguilla. We’re all talking of "next year" already. Can’t wait to return.

Thank you for allowing our family to stay here. You have an amazing villa, by far the best of my 17 years of traveling. What a wonderful place! The villa, pool, beach, everything is so well thought-out and solves every possible need and wish. Sunrise and sunset are spectacular. Your wonderful home made our sixth visit to Anguilla exceptional. The location is superb and having the beach so close was an added treat. The box of Legos was a special attraction for our grandson. Catherine and Dorothea were great and took wonderful care of us. The most difficult part of this trip was leaving. The villa was decorated beautifully; it was comfortable - perfect furniture; it was well stocked with everything you could possibly need on vacation. It was very clean and modern. The landscape was perfect -- gorgeous flowers, refreshing pool, and a very private beach. When I'd wake up in the morning, I could see the water from my bed. "We were definitely lucky to have found your villa for our yearly vacation with friends and family! We have vacationed on several islands over the years (Belize, St. Bart, St. Martin, Tortola, Jost Van Dyke, Virgin Gorda) and the villas were beautiful, but none compare to yours. Absolutely Perfect! Being from Louisiana, your kitchen was a “Cajun” cooking paradise! The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Especially the view of the glorious ocean. All your special amenities from the beach towels, umbrellas, beach chairs, etc., etc., etc. We wanted for nothing. Everything was already here. Catherine’s warm personality immediately made all of us feel welcomed and her having the villa stocked with our grocery list made our long trip here so worthwhile from the first step into the villa. We changed into our swimsuits and for the next 8 days, that’s all we wore. Our last night was a glorious dinner at Barrel Stay. The food not only was delicious, but the presentation was fabulous. Jill and her staff welcomed us like we were family. It just couldn’t have been any better! We chartered a 48-foot boat (Summer Time) to view and tour your beautiful island from the ocean. Our captain, Eddie, and his first mate, Bryan, made our trip so special. From snorkeling, swimming, and drinking Eddie’s rum punch, there was nothing he hadn’t thought of to make our excursion the BEST! After a wonderful breakfast each morning we were greeted by the lovely smile of Dorothea. In her quiet way, she kept your villa immaculate. The short stroll to the beach was a favorite gathering spot for our group. Very relaxing and stressless! We will never forget this vacation!! Thanks for allowing us to stay in your villa... we will be back!"
